GS400 had a 3.76LSD K&N intake and headers
That was one of the slowest times i've seen for a IS350, most run solid mid to high 13's all day, there is no denying the IS350 is faster then a 2nd gen GS4..

i've owned 3 2GS's two 300's and a GS430, I personally would take a IS350 over a 2gs if they where free. I do love my GS's though, I think they are a little more Comfy and Luxury, also I can own one without picking up a car note lol.

I like the newer features of the IS350 though, not having to take your key out of your pocket to unlock the doors or start your car is pretty cool, and the IS350 is pretty quick for a stock car.

100% correct! Imho both cars have pros and cons against each other. It's not like one is CLEARLY better than the other at everything. Listen, off the line a stock IS350 is a monster from 0-60, again, due to its efficient tranny and aggressive rear gears, with that said it's almost 1 full second quicker to 60mph than a stock gs4...and coincidentally it is anywhere from .5 to 1 full second faster in the 1/4 mile than a stock gs4. So, as you can see the real win comes from the first 60mph of the 1/4 mile run. Run both cars stock on the highway and it will be a close race, with perhaps even an edge to the stock gs4 (assuming that it has been properly maintained because some of these cars are now 10+ years old. Point is they are both great cars each with their own high points. It's funny, I remember when I had my '92 Acura Legend sedan...it was crazy clean, black on black with a kit and it TURNED HEADS. It wasn't as fast as the newer TL's at the time but imho they were cooler to me and to the TL owners! But it lacked it performance and technology when compared to the TL. Both cars too had there pros and cons when compared againsy esch other...but both cars were still nice!

I have owned some pretty nice cars in my opinion however, Once I bought 03 GS 430
I knew it the best purchase I ever made. The power, ride, comfort and all the bells and whistles that come with the car are on point.

I have owned

92 Acura legend type 2
93 Mazda RX 7
00 Toyota celica
93 GS 300 I still have
01 Mercedes E320

BY FAR THE GS 430 IS THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED I AM AND WILL ALWAYS BE LEXUS OWNER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!
