App radio 3 poor radio reception.

App radio 3 poor radio reception.
Just installed a app radio 3 into my 03 gs 300 but fm stations seam to have a weaker signal. Is there a factory antenna amp that needs to be powered up?
Could always be something simple

Yeah antenna is plugged in. I just don't know if the car has a factory antenna amp. All the stations come in but some have worse reception then the factory radio.

The radio fits like any other double din radio does. Just have to get the metra install kit and run wires to bypass the factory speaker amp.
