According to ALLDATA, it's the same procedure and specs for a 2000 GS300. Also true for 01-05 GS430/300.

If your maf fails the resistance test, I would replace it with a brand new oem maf. My engine started vibrating. You could feel it through the steering wheel. I changed the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, motor mounts, transmission mounts, and exhuast mounts. There was still a faint vibration. Changed spark plugs, wires, and pcv. Still there. It was driving me crazy and I thought it might have been the injectors. Turned out it was the remanufactured maf I bought from Autozone. I was chasing the small miss for a year and it was the damn Autozone maf! Checked the resistance and it was out of spec. Of course I figured this out 1 month after the warranty ended. Bought a new oem maf and car no longer vibrates.

It seems to be related to the browser they are using. It doesn't work in Firefox or Safari. It works in IE8 and 9.

that is correct it WILL NOT work with FF it works fine with IE....one of the ONLY reasons i still have IE on my laptop is to use it on that.
