Does anyone know where the purge canister is located on a 98 lexus gs300

I believe it's behind the rear driver wheel.

Before you go and replace things, check to make sure that you don't have any hoses loose. It's a common problem to have a hose leak in the 400/430. Not sure about the 300.

It's recommended that you don't try to "top off" the tank after the pump has clicked off.

it's in the worse possible place. it's directly above the rear differential in a space between the differential and the body. service manual says to remove a driveshaft to get to it. unless you need it replaced for emmissions testing i would wait it out. i've gotten that code twice in thelast year or so. everytime i start to get concerned about it, it goes away.

Mines Been on for a while..I needa get this fixed too cuz I'm due for smog this year :/

I am gointo try to replace the purge valve first, it has a green cap and locates on the driver side along the fire wall. On that note does anyone have the part number or diy?
