Default :(( Trade for my '98 GS400

Where is the best place to put up my '98 GS400 for trade? I need to trade my car for something more practical until I can get back onto my feet. I was laid off, just finished, and cannot seem to find a job.

My GS400 has about 184K, still runs smooth, lowered on Megan Springs, HKS Exhaust, and the rest of the car is OEM. May need to replace two tires, but other wise still a very good car. I do not want to let it go but .... I on survival mode right now.

I want to trade for a 4 or 6 cyl. Accord, Camry, Subaru or Matrix. Need some guidance here. I am in the Long Beach Cali area. IF you have a car on my list that is worth around the $7K range, email me with some details.

Thanks in advance.

I don't get it. How is trading a car worth $7k with another car worth $7k going to help you financially? Fuel cost?

^insurance, gas, maintenance..etc

Put it up on craigslist. Look at forums specific to what car you want and see if they have a regional forum for your area. Also put it up for sale. Better to have $6k in your pocket if you wont drive the car than to have it sit.

Or maybe use the classified area for cars here. But, I think Craigslist is your best bet.

Craigslist would be a good start since other members from Honda/Toyota/Subaru, etc. forums usually lurk on there and will provide the info back to their respective forums. Good luck with the car and work situation.

Thanks for the advice. I will be posting up my car on Craigslist.

If any of you are interested in buying the car, even though I am looking for a trade, and the money is right .... email me for more detail.

This is not a for sale forum, take the time to list it properly here if your trying to sell. Your also gonna need a vouch.

part of this is correct.....this isnt the classififeds and all FS/WTB/TRADES for lexus model cars should go in here...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...assifieds-154/

BUT you DO NOT NEED A VOUCH TO SELL A CAR...dave told me this awhile ago. most the time the transaction happens face to face so you can kind of make your own judgement when you get their you know?

sell it on your own. Dealers will give you below trade-in value due to reconditiong and fee's and of course they must make money
