Default Weird Weird Weird Foglight Situation

I think my car is haunted honestly, or maybe i did a bad deed today but its being weird. One of my ballasts went bad a week ago so i ordered a new one for the fogs.

Here is a breakdown of what happens because im lost as to why its doing this.

1. The bulb/ballast work fine when plugged into the headlight harness.

2. The same bulb/harness do not work when plugged into the foglight harness.

3. So one would think there is no power coming to the foglight harness. However when i plug in a halogen bulb in the foglight harness it works fine.

How the Freak does that even happen, it doesnt make sense to me, but then again my automobile electronic skills are very very novice.

check the inner connection of the HID wire to the cars harness. Make sure they both go in, and that the positive is plugged into the right socket. Kind of hard to explain lol. I had the same problem and it was because the connection from the HID to our cars harness

Totally understand, however if the connector was bad on the fog harness then why would the halogen bulb work fine? Its really awkward, because the whole bulb/ballast works in the headlight harness, while only the halogen works in the fog harness. Maybe shell stop being stubborn tomorrow and ill get it to work.

So I figured out the culprit. I had to pretty much reverse the polarity and plug the harness the opposite way on the ballast. How weird is that, the fact that it works when its connected properly on the headlights, and only works when plugged unproperly in the fogs.
