Default 01+ tails retrofit?
Have searched and cannot find - does anyone have a DIY or pics of how to splice a harness from 1998-00 GS to work with 01+ tails and not throw any codes?

SO Sakataj....., I noticed you chimed in on Hawk362's thread almost 2 years ago and said basically the same thing you said to me: "welcome to the club, please search though next time as this has been covered many, many times AS has alot of things we all need/think bout."

I did search in Lighting and the 2Gen GS forums, closest I got was 2 threads total , both which say "some splicing may be required." Thanks for pointing out the thread that "talks about it"
Don't see any thread out there that meets my criteria "DIY or pics of how"
But if you know of one I'm all ears ;-)

i wanna say it was coco or OCH who did this but i dont recall....my 5 min search resulted in a few things that will help...using keywords taillight harness so what did you search under?

first one is a easy fix

yeah, your right i do...obviously look at my post count , but please dont sit there and act like im always unhelpful....if i recall i have done more helpful detailed DIY threads than you have so i DEF do more than just talk alot

i thought this thread would be about mating the oem 01+ with the led outer lenses. anyone done this mod yet????????????

no u know that wont happen without cracking the lens....SEVERAL people including myself have tried and failed

the OEM outer lens cracks....never got any further really than one set i ruined
