I don't think weight is a problem, I have a fosgate t1 In the decklid with a rubber ring to keep it sealed and bolts instead of screws to keep it In.





To try to get the hole open enough, I literally held on the end of the sub with all my weight, it can support over 200 pounds at the least and I was running it for months and there was no problems with cracking or anything.

Just googled the T1, it has a shipping weight of 27 pounds including the packing material I presume. The power HX2 is 35 pounds by itself. No the deck isn't going to crack or anything, but my power HX2 was huge and it cause the deck to flex and vibrate on Los Angeles freeways (not the best).

I hear the kicker comp 10" sub is a good replacement. I'm looking to swap my stock sub soon. Want to keep the stock look.
