what color wires are for iat on maf sensor
Any body have a wiring diagram or know of the 5 wires coming out of the maf. Are for the iat . Intake air temp. Please let me know thanx. I did search but none of othe post have any answers to the question.

MAF Plug configuration for the 2nd Gen GS430:
1: +B - White(wire)
2: E2G - Green/White(wire)
3: VG - Blue/Yellow(wire)
5: E2 - Brown(wire)
4: THA - Pink/Blue(wire)
i found the wiring diagram , but which of these wires are used to test iat ( intake air
temp )
#4 tha & #5 e2 ?
not sure what each abbr is for. any takers..
1: +B - White(wire)
2: E2G - Green/White(wire)
3: VG - Blue/Yellow(wire)
5: E2 - Brown(wire)
4: THA - Pink/Blue(wire)

Use at your own risk:
Voltage test is #4 to ground. Key on with engine off should give you 2v in normal temps (about 70).
Resistance test is #4 to #5. Key off and IAT unplugged. Resistance should be 2-3 ohms at normal temps (70 degrees). Resistance goes down the hotter the temps are.
Do you have a specific code pointing you to this part?
