Trunk fell on my back while grabbing groceries, normal?
I looked around to see if anyone had similiar issues, but oddly my lexus gs400's trunk doesn't seem to stay up almost as if it has no struts or something to hold it from falling.
What holds the trunk up in the lexus? Anything that can wear down, and need to be replaced? Need to know since it's become a daily annoyance as of late

It's pretty funny until your way down and it has the full swing force Okay for me, not for me older mom.
Any idea how to fix that/ I was thinking it's a blown strut but after some research I see no struts for sale so I'm guessing they don't have struts.

Ah I see, thanks, I just did it and it's much better now
It was on the lowest tension even though my GS has a fairly heavy trunk spoiler so someone forgot to adjust it when they installed it.
