Default where the cheapest and and good tires?

I was wondering where I can find the cheapest and pretty good tires for my 99 gs 400? I am tight on money and do not want to spend a lot.

just do a search on tires there are a lot of posts.

You can look at tirerack.com for prices and user reviews of the tires.

I have owned and had good experiance with.

Hankook. Ventus
Sumitomo. HR3
Khumos.

etc.

I used to run Federal 595's on my S14, pretty cheap, last a decent amount of time.
They may have a bit more road noise then you want though ( I really didnt care as I was driving an S14 that was loud as **** to begin with )

I think citytireonline.com had some pretty good deals on em.

Cheap and Safe dont mix either.. OP you will find out the hard way when your in a situation that requires you to react aggressively for what ever reason..youll wish you'd spent on on a good quality tire.

Check out TireRack and TreadDepot, they usually have brand name tires for well under what your going to pay at the local tire shop.

I have found that the best bang for the buck comes form either Hankook Ventus Evo12 or the General Tire Exclaim UHP. Both of these tires are smooth quiest and reasonably good wet traction. I only use them in the summers.

I have found these tires just as good as the more expensive Michelins or the Dunlops

I'm still rockin the Primewell PZ900's that were on my car when I bought it. They don't seem to bad. Back to Toyo Proxes 4's when those are toast.
