I need help with an issue I'm sure no one has come across.

I am changing out the door handles on my 99 GS and one of the doors is stuck closed.

The back driver side door did not link up correctly and I did not test it before putting the panel back on. The child lock was engaged during the process cause I am not able to open it from the inside either.

Any I ideas short of destroying the door panel????

Ok guess..I calmed down and solved my own problem.

So if this ever happens to you take a slim jim and slip it down on the inside of the main window you will have to work around the window track and there is a lever on the handle that you can push down on with the slim jim and....bam the door opens.

I will post a picture of this lever once I get home.

actually there was a member who did something similar to this, i forgot how he resolved it....he was gonna cut his door panel or he drilled into his door or something, i forgot...
