Default Matte Black Roof Quote?

I sent an email out yesterday to a company called Skinzwraps for a quote on a vinyl wrap for my roof.. They quoted me 395.00 and that only includes the roof not the pillars or around the doors.. They will also come to my home and do the install which will take 2 hours.

I think they are based out of miami and have a few locations around the country,..

Is this a good price or should i just get the roof painted instead?.. Which is the better option.. Price seems kind of high IMO but I'm new to the whole wrap thing so maybe someone can chime in and give me there input..

thanks

I thought about that but after doing a search seems the majority thinks the Gloss would match better because of the tinted windows..

BTW i did my ES300 emblems in Plasti-Dip.. turned out great

Did the chrome around the doors on my bmw in pastidip it's been about 7 months now and they're in excellent shape standing up to San Antonio heat just fine. I'd test it out on the roof. you can make the matte look shiny by using some back to black stuff on them. I do that for the doors but I don't know about putting that stuff on the roof but hey $8 can't go wrong!

Was that somewhere local or on the internet? I've seen the gloss film wrap sold online but is it easy to install yourself?

I live in dubai and i got my full car covered in a matte black vinyl. Since i suppose its cheaper here, it costed me 500 dollars for the whole car with a year warranty.. So far its been perfect... Realy protects the paint underneath... But its a headache to keep i clean i would tell you to go for gloss black... Matte black gets boring

It's Toronto located company as I hear from installer material for the roof cost him around 60$ It's 3M DI NOC or Oracle vinyl, the most expensive it's CarbonFiber vinyl
For 160$ it's better to let installed it to professional who does it everyday

I'm pretty sure i'm going to do Gloss... I have a few emails out on some quotes but like i mentioned in the first post was i got quoted $395.00 for a 2hr install on just the roof..

I saw a company online calle downshiftgraphics dot com and i can buy a 4x 6 foot piece and do it myself but i'd rather have a professional do it.. the $395 seems a bit high IMO..
