Default possible starter?

Not sure if I have a starter problem. On Saturday I disconnected my battery to work on my doors and this is all the mx I have done.

But now when I go to start the car either hot or cold the dash lights come on and then when I switch the key to start nothing...not even the tick tick tick of a starter going out. I have to cycle the key 5 or 6 times before the engine even turns over but when it does it fires right up.

Could this possibly be the starter or something else? I made sure my battery connection was tight....thanks for ur help.

Update:

I've done a few errands and have turned my car successfully on 5 times with no problems. So I haven't ruled the starter out but also thinking that the timing could be off....I just throwing guesses into the wind....

Thought the starter was just one click? If you try turning on the car and only get one click thought that meant that the starter has gone bad?

It might just be the cold weather that's killing your battery.

But no dash lights came on. Nice cause the old starter gave me plenty of warning it was really to die, and I got it swapped out without being stranded.
Well I guess I will go ahead and do a little preventative maintenance and change it before I get stranded....found this thread if anyone else has to change theirs out....they even give you the parts listings!

I will probably make a video and link it on this thread....more to follow.
