Thumbs up Finally got my spacers

After almost two months of waiting... I finally go the 25's installed... It makes a big diff IMO... I have taken the pics so you can see.. Keep in mind though.. I am not using the GS 17's, but the IS17's... They are a little more narrow than the GS. I think they are 7 or 7.5 wide.. What do you all think??..

One more... I do feel it riding a little better too in the rear, unless it is just me. Or it might ALSO be that I installed the RMM tower brace too...

please keep me updated on how they preform! more understeer or more oversteer, etc etc... the GS300 is hard to brake the rear end loose how does this help? what tire size are you using? are the spacers on tight? are you confident using them? they are H&R right?

why are you using the IS rims. they look too narrow for the GS cuz the gs is a big car. also cool tires. what kind are they.

also how much you get the spacer's for??

Lex,
Well, they are performing excellent so far. No issues at all that I can tell. On the contrary, the car actually feels a little more solid. They are the H&R brand 25mm. I have added the RMM UTB so that may also have something to do with the diferent feel.. It's a definate improvement though. I am running toyo proxes 235/45zr17. They are excellent tires. I will keep you posted on the performance. Not sure what you mean by asking if the spacers are on tight, but yes, i don't know why i would want them loose.

Jmai,

Well bud the reason I am running the is17's is because everyone wants too much for the gs rims. I got these very cheap(normal in LA when available for sale) and so i put them on. I like them, so i just added the spacers. The tires I am using are the toyo proxes 235/45/zr17's. Top of the line I think. Anyway, they are superb tires.. If you know anyone that has a set of GS17's in excellent condition and price... holla ok.

Rock.

what tire comes stock on the IS? I thought a 235 was to big for the stock rim, wouldn't the tire bow out a bit?

Thumbs up Spacers

Lex, ok, cool we are on the same page. yes, they felt very sturdy. I used them a long time ago the cheap ones even and never had a problem. these are much better quality.... I will keep you posted on the oover-steer question. Just remind me later on ok..

Jmai,
Well, the stock tires on the is are 215/45's. The 235's look very nice and meaty. A perfect size IMO. You can see it in the pic even. Hey any of you guys going to the meet tomorrow? I was hoping to get the Teins installed by then, but they can't do it until Sunday.
