Default GS sport wheels vs. IS300 wheels

I'm getting new tires soon and I am scrapping my 16" stock wheels for the 430. I am planning on getting a set of IS300 wheels only because I prefer the design over the GS wheels. Anybody have a GS with IS300 wheels or have pics?

Do it...you wont regret it . For some reason it looks good on the GS even with the stock height ( i increased the size of the tires to 225/55/17). Here are some pics and sorry for the quality...I used my iphone tho.

I had the IS300 wheels for a short time and replaced them because 1) the wheels are only 7" wide which is way too thin and 2) IMO the spokes are too thin for the larger-bodied GS.

The GS430/400 rims not only look better but are also an inch wider.

gs430 wheels are better, like MPlexus says, they're 17x8 which make a big difference, you don't want skinny rims on you GS.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll post pics when I get them. Going to try a junkyard this week.

IMO I prefer the stock 17" GS wheels. Wish they were available as an 18" factory fitment though.

Yeah I wish they were 18", but oh well.

Also wish this car came with a slightly more aggressive stance from factory. (lower, flush wheels)

they have the V.A.P.C wheels which is very similar in design with the GS4xx 17's but in a 18x9 size. its a "JDM" optional wheel for the LS & GS i have 1 set and have been hunting for a 2nd for spares but no luck. for oem coloring they have a raw silver and a gunmetal barrel/silver edition of the wheels unless its custom painted.

Well tracking down a set of used gs 17 inch wheels is proving to be quite the task and I'm growing impatient with it. Going to go with a nice set of 18s or 19s in alloy. I like lexforlife's car so far.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to run skinny rims on the big GS. Annnns, I agree, I wish they had 18'' rims ..

Found a cheap pair of IS250 17s on craigslist for $275. Bought them this weekend. I'll be putting them on next week. They are 17x8. I did a photoshop with them and it looks like a safe bet.
