Default "F" snow, broke my mirror housing today

How you doing guys?

As some of you might know it snowing heavily here in Europe.
Well today, driving out from the parking place I hit the fence with my right mirror housing.
I drive very carefully but this stuff happened in a second due to snow and other factors

Well here is the situation.
My puddle-light led, turning light led cover is more or less fixable, but the oem middle plastic panel with the code 563517 LHD-RH is broken in many pieces and it looks like it can't be fixed.

I checked out local junk yards but all we have here are cars brought from England, meaning they are right hand drive Lexuses. Can anyone please confirm if the housing is different and I can't use plastic parts off them?

If anyone from US is willing to help me out I'd be more than thankful!
I will pay for all the expenses. If someone has time, please check out your local junk yards, all I need is the middle plastic part, on one of the photos it has a code on it.

Thank you very much!!!!

I dont see why they wouldnt fit. They're all the same car/chassis, just different options.

Indeed man, I'm frustrated as a man can be!
Worst part is that it all happened in front of my house, on my front yard EPIC FAIL man, all I had to do is maybe spend more time on cleaning snow...

Thank you for your input.
I know that JDM and USDM are different. USDM and EDM are the same, that I know for sure, but are EDM (LHD) and EDM (RHD) the same, that's the question.
My lexus is LHD EDM, and all lexuses we have on our junkyards are RHD Lexuses from England!
So you would bet on them being the same?

Still the same parts. The mirrors arent RHD. The only obvious difference is gonna be the actual mirror/glass in which one reflects closer than the other.

Oh man this sucks... you just got these housings.

I also think the housings are the same for all cars, LHD & RHD.

Also when you have the time, please send me that wiring diagram for the rear fogs. I still haven't found anything.

But I know that you have other things on your mind right now.

Fingers crossed!

No problem man, I will when I have time, you can count on that!

Here is the ad for the car:
http://www.demontering.ee/?mis=pildid&kuulutus=3271

They can sell me the housing for cheap, but it's 98 and mine (restyle) 01. You would still bet on them being identical, housing wise?

I got confused due to LED mirror covers being sold for 98 and different ones for the 01-... Hmmm why would that be, if the housing is the same

Thanks.

As for the housing, I believe 98-00 housings are different from the 01-05 housing.

If someone could confirm...

edit: dang, the interior of that car is still looking fresh for its mileage !!

ah yes, this is true. Good catch.

However, when I replaced mine with the wrong year, I was able to swap mounts (cause the mounting bolt pattern didnt match up) also, though, the actual mirror covers are different as well, that is why they are selling different 'puddle light covers' for each year.

Hey OP, are you buying from junk yard? Why are you getting from england, are you having problems finding them elsewhere?

scratch that, I just re read it. but the last question stands, are you having problems finding it?

It seems to be a junkyard in Estonia, but the GS's they have are RHD only.

Nope it's not, I need this part:

The junk yard is in Estonia, but cars in it come from all around and it just happened this way, that all GSs that I can find are RHD

Regarding your previous post, you were able to swap everything but the cover itself? Because I will use my "LED" cover I just need the plastic part in between.

The problem I was speaking of that you will have is with that cover you bought with the puddle lights. You must buy a mirror off an 01+ GS or else it wont fit. The problem I had is irrelevant to what you're gonna do, so dont worry

again (in different words) the 98-00 models mirrors have a different shape than the 01+ mirrors so your LED covers will NOT fit the mirrors of the 98-00 mirrors.
