Default GS300 Starting Issue

Hey guys, I have done extensive research on this problem and cannot find anyone that has had this problem. I even talked to a technician at the local Lexus dealership and he has never heard of this problem.

I was starting my 1999 GS300 this afternoon when it seemed like the battery was dying, so i turned the key to the off position. Here's the thing, the starter kept turning over, even with the key out! so I disconnected the battery to keep it from killing the battery or the starter. I pulled the starter relay out, and connected the battery, and the starter just keeps turning over! The car won't actually start, just the starter turning the motor over.

Any Ideas??

Thanks for looking!

It is still turning over with the relay out? The only way that could happen then is with some kind of back flow in the circuit, and that is a problem. Are you sure you pulled the right relay out? They put the relays in one grouping, which can be confusing, so you might have just pulled the wrong one.
