master key programming,need help
anyone knows how to program specifics like to unlock doors and lock and the trunk setting..I just bought a master key and i programmed it to start my engine but thats about all it does. my other master that does all the features is broken..

A problem that a lot of people have is that when they buy the master key, the provider gives them the right procedure to program the key to start the engine, but the wrong one to program the locking features.
Here's the right way to do it.
1. Start out by locking and then unlocking all the doors with the power switch. Keep just the driver's door open.
2. Place the new master key into the ignition and then remove it within 3 seconds.
3. Now hold the key in the air right in front of your face so the key will get the best reception and then lock and unlock the doors 5 times within a 40 second time frame.
4. Close the door and then open the door.
5. Repeat step 3.
6. Now place the new key into the ignition, turn it to the on position but do not start the car, and then turn it off and remove the key.
7. Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the key for about 1.5-2 seconds and then about a second after press and hold just the lock button for about 1 second.
8. If within 3 seconds, the door locks lock and unlock once then the registration of recognition code was excepted... If cycled twice, the code was denied. If it did not work, try step 7 again.
9. Close the door and try out your new key.
This code will also program the trunk to open.
I must have done another procedure like 20 times before I switched to this one. I figured this one out on my own and this is the best that I could remember it. I got a new master key about a month and a half ago because my body shop accidentally cracked the transponder casing.

One question. If I need to program 2 master keys, do I do the whole procedure for each key?

I'm not sure about that as I only had to program one key.
Perhaps what you could try to do is complete the programming for one key, then instead of closing the door to end the programming mode, start from step 6 with the second new master key?
