I knew a guy who had his driving lights stolen twice. On the third set, he took a couple of single edge razor blades, broke them up and super glued them to the back of the light housings. One morning he noticed blood stains around his bumper and one of his lights was loose. He tightened up the lights and washed the car. Never lost another set of lights. I pointed out to him that he had better remember where he glued the razor blades when he went to replace the bulbs.

I wouldn’t do this because it would be my luck that the thief would throw a rock through the windshield to get even.

Hahah thats not a bad idea. You can always get the windshield replaced through insurance if anything.

Hey Brian, is that price for 100 shipped? That's basically the same price for what those hex screws I bought from HD cost. I didn't know they were that cheap lol. I'd be interested in 4...lets get a group buy going on CL. Otherwise, let me know the price of just buying 4 or so, and I'll get it from them, thanks bud

I installed the hex screws from HD a few years back on my fogs. I still have my fogs so I guess they do the job. However, they rust a lot more than the original screws.

I mean hex screws are overkill around my area, but if I ever drive down to NY, I'd like to be safe. Last thing I need is a smart thief carrying around allen's ha ha. For a few dollars, I can REALLY rest assure that my fogs and 2 hid kit + bulbs won't get jacked

i will look into finding a smaller quantity as i emailed another company....

the bit for them is $4.00 btw....

if noone will sell them in a smaller quantity, i may actually buy these but i would be will to bet it will take me forever to sell the rest of them. i will have to adjust the price for the incoming shipping and the outgoing shipping but i would think i could easily get this down to bout 3-5 shipped but you all will need your own bit.

if i dont mention this again in a few days someone PM me or revive this thread to remind me

Hearing about this makes me sad for 2 reasons.

One, most likely the thief is also a 2GS owner as well since the part he is stealing is not universal like if he were to steal aftermarket rims or something.

Two, even the Lexus crowd has ghetto jerks that have to steal from other Lexus owners because he cant afford to buy his own stuff.

If you cant pay to play. Go play somewhere else. Please dont go to the Honda/Acura playground either because I own a Civic, Prelude, and CRX as well. Please steal my Caravan though. I only drive that when I have to......LOL.

ok guys, i have a company i found i can order some of these security bolts for a small tad cheaper and im gonna order 20 bits along with the 100 bolts...

what im gonna do is sell of 95 of the 100 and and keep one bit and 5 bolts for myself. i'm gonna make 19 bags with 1 bit each and 5 of these screws so if you lose one, you have a spare.

how does 6 shipped to the continental US strike anyone? not trying to make a profit just recouping on the total cost

i will make a fs post if i need to but PM me if your interested
