where the heck is the cupholder?
now i don't mean to complain, but trying to drive 65 in a 40 with a bottled water in one hand isn't easy..so i thought to put it in my gs's cupholder (got last friday)....alas, i think lexus forgot to install one?! now just what is the story here? am i missing the thing or does it not exist? is there a good aftermarket addition if it doesn't?
i should state (for my own defense) that my car didn't come w/ an owner's manual (now on order).

Got some sheets of carbon fiber material (thin) from NOPI, about 6 inches tall. Measured around the cupholder try and removed the door. I heated up the carbon material with an industrial hairdryer and force-fitted the carbon fiber stuff around the cupholder box until it made a little wall around it. Sealed the bottom with a nice bead of 3M clear silicone around the bottom. No more drink spills! Looks sporty too with the carbon fiber.
If I'm using a smaller drink, I can also fill up the area (since it's sealed) with ice and use it like a little cooler. I've got a little tan satin pillow I put on top to make it blend in with the interior of the car. Haven't figured out how to get the water out yet except with a sponge. May be my next mod.

Yeah, that used to happen to me too - especially with 'biggie sized' McD's sodas. It bothered me so much I did a little DIY mod to fix it last week.

Your car should have a divider in the little tray that turns it into 2 cupholders. They are removable so maybe yours got lost somewhere. If the little "divider" that turns the tray into the cupholder was not there I could see how you could not realize that there should be one.
