Need a DIY on Serpentine Tensioner Replacement
I was looking through the DIY's trying to find a write up on replacing the serpentine tensioner. Does anyone know how or where I can find a write up on replacing it.

I dont know thats why I asked because I want to know if its that simple or should I expect something else. Can anyone else confirm that you just remove the belt and unbolt the tensioner.

Yes, you can just unbolt the tensioner from the block (it's 3 bolts in a triangle) Be careful not to drop the bolts into the #2 timing belt cover as you remove them or you may have to remove the cover to get them back. You will have to remove the first timing belt cover to get access to the bolts. Removing the #2 cover is a total pain and involves removing the crank pulley... This is best avoided. When you attach your new tensioner the Toyota/Lexus service manual specifies 15 ft lbs on the bolts, but a nice push or two on a wrench should be good enough.
