Default Summer update on my GS!

Hey all, I have been absent lately because of summer classes, a second project car, and work.

No real new mods, just the loss of old ones...got pulled over for tint (PA law says 70% limit, which is nothing, i had 15%, took it off to avoid fine) so now i feel naked and open to eyes...very odd. Drivers side cat seems to have failed, CEL on p0420 maybe? I put limo tint on my rear windshield just to try it out, and wow tinting is very tough. i def need an assistant, or more hands

Today (8th) was my birthday, Iam now 19 years old, for whatever that is worth. I got an orbital buffer/polisher kit seems pretty nice from craftsman. only for wax, not abrasives which i thought was odd but either way...Ive only ever waxed the hood and trunk lol so perfect timing. Drum roll...I also got a Dremel! the 4000 model, full kit and case. I have been dreaming of this for a while, always referenced in DIY mods......which leads me to the next topic

Soon -- I will be routing my Weapon R short ram intake into the fog light area. I plan to extend the piping with 1 more 3" diameter piece of pipe, maybe 5 inches so it will sit near the sidemarker. To get it there with the fewest bends i will be using the dremel to cut through the sheet metal where the stock airbox sits. My only concern is that this could offset chassis rigidity, not by much but dont want to tamper with a good balance. Also, I have since grown up from being a ricer and realized that there is not that much more power to be gained from short ram vs cold air...but i want to do this more or less to pioneer a DIY true cold air intake for the 1uz....comments/feedback please

Sidenote -- my second car is a 1 owner 1994 honda civic dx. got it for $100. blown motor but 0% rust. not 1 spot of rust which is rare. so i blew like a grand getting it running, brakes, radiator, horn, new motor...and now this motor seems to be blown. needless to say I am outraged...it is out of commision...but i plan for this car to be a gutted/loud/buzzy streetcar...heheheh

It feels good to be back...please guys comment questions anything...oh yeah my interior on the gs is black suede i did it...looks good.
