hi i know there are a ton of topics regarding the GS aristo swaps to the GTE.
but my question was more specifically about the AC lines.

if i do the swap with the GS400, will the factory AC lines hook right up to the GTE swap/ac compressor?
and is the GS300 a direct swap with the AC lines when you do the GTE swap?

Gs400 you have to make the ac lines ill take a pic of mine to give you an idea.

so how hard was it a process to keep the AC (make your own lines) when doing a GTE swap in a GS400?

would the GS300 be a direct swap (no need for custom ac lines)?

We used the gs400 ac lines and took it to a place that made the lines fit for the swap wasnt to hard, I dont know about the gs300 ac line being a direct fit either way if you have any questions hit me up.

Yes, the GS300 AC lines are a direct fit

The 2JZ-GTE VVTi and 2JZ-GE VVTi share the same AC compressor as well. It all just bolts together easily. The only problem you might run into is the line might hit the back of the front mount intercooler depending on how thick it is and how far back you mounted it. The clearance issue is a problem for both the GS3 and GS4 ac lines where it runs in front of the condenser. I'll try to post a picture when I get a chance to take one.

The way I solved my problem is that I just crimped my own AN fittings and tapped in a AN fitting adapter where the line in front of the condenser used to be. Yes, I use race car fittings for my AC in the car

as far as a 2jz-gte swap later down the line... would it be a lot easier and better to get a GS300 to begin with? or can i get a GS400 and still be pretty compareable when time to swap?

obviously i think i would prefer the GS400 for the time being (for the power reason), but i know for sure i will want to do a GTE swap down the line so i have to keep that in mind before jumping into one.

The gs300 might be slightly more available than a gs400, but the gs400 diff is better with the 2jzgte swap than the gs300 diff.

Physically it will bolt up to the block. I believe the AC hose routing is slightly different on the mkiv supra compressor. So you will probably have to get some custom AC lines made. Or you can use the stock GS300 compressor. Both will probably run similar prices (new custom lines VS used GS300 comp).
