Nice write-up, now all you need is the bulb number and we are all set... FYI it is a 9006 bulb...

oh guys if you wanna reduce the theft to these fog lights,do like i did and use a allen bolt in the phillips head screw or do like im fixing to do and get some star or security bolts (im getting mine from a buddy who does elevator repair.NOONE i know carries or owns a security bolt tool so i feel safer with them)
oh man, thanks for the suggestion. I'm gonna need to do that when I try to fit and FX-r clear lense projector in that fog housing. Not sure if it'll fit though. If not, I'll put the smaller projector and it'll work fine. But at least, all that hard work can't be stolen in a minute.

now, need to get the correct thread for screw. HomeDepot?

Also, F.Y.I., if one wanted to put HID's in the fogs, this is the way to do it. Just mount the ballasts in those housings. What I did was I mounted the ballasts vertically, so it would be away from water, as there are some small holes horizontally in the black plastic liner. I added a relay, and ran it via the passenger side housing, up to where the battery is
Im installing hids now in my fogs, when i hook up the ballast, theres no power. If i put the original bulb back in it works, any ideas?

Would someone be so kind as to mention what brand and/or store they purchased their HID foglights from?

I was thinking about converting mine (2001 GS300), but there are so many different kits out there with varying reviews, I wasn't sure which to go with. Also the aftermarket foglights that I had seen looked a bit cheap(?) and I didn't want to get something that would just break after a few weeks/months.

I also plan to convert my headlights but heard (couple years back) that it can run into the $100's of dollars, not sure if that has changed much.
