Not a noticeable difference as far as I can tell. I do notice the crisper color in the light though when it's shining down on the road.

I assume the stock HIDs are 35w.

When putting 55w HIDs in the stock HID housing, will this not produce glare?

5000K is cool, I'll probably get those bulbs when my original bulbs die on me.

35w ballasts. I don't see any glare but I would need to see it from the other drivers perspective. 55w may cause a glare in stock reflectors.

I got mine at xenondepot.com but there are dozens of places who sell HIDs and lots of opinions as to which are better based on pricing and ease of installation. I'd recommend you determine how much you're williing to spend then search around including these boards.

Theres not going to be a noticeable difference. after a while the 4300k color shifts up to 5000-6000 so changing them out wont be a huge difference except to be a newer bulb.

55W bulbs will not provide you with as even of a light spread as the 35W kits. 55W kits do provide more light output but not much of it is useable. All cars that come with HIDs from the factory use 35W.

I'm putting yellow halogens in my fogs for now. If they don't look good, I may go with HIDs.

If I were a cop I'd be pulling over every car on the road with purple lights. They just look illegal.
