Default GS at Thunderhill

Here is my GS at Thunderhill last week running with Donutz Racing. Still have not seen any other Lexus at the track. It was a hot day, for Calif anyway, high 90's.

THose pics are AWESOME!!!! Glad to see u representing our 3800 pounder Q. I am assuming there is a lot less bodyroll with all your mods. Does the car meet your expectations? What do other people say (as I am sure they driev sports cars or much lighter cars to the track).

I'll be joining the SCAA this week and I will tell my stories when I finally get out to the track. Thanks so much for the additional validation.

Damn, I just re-checked THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!

Default Q....

Qbranch...
How does the GS handle out there?
Any pointers?
I am going to the track in about 3 weeks...
I am a bit nervous as it is my first time on a real track.
Thanks
MIKE

like spartan, i am planning to go to the track this summere and i am very concerned about getting clipped by another driver... what do you suggest i do to let people pass me with ease? i would rather come in last place in a time trials then have my car all ******ed up!!

sasha I would suggest you invest on some driving schools to get some good racing experience especially at a young age, This way when you go to the track you would at least have some Idea of how things work and what to do.

One key thing is that any other driver is aware of what you're going to do. This means that you shouldn't surprise them with an erratic move. Fast driving is not about a lead foot and lightning reactions either... it's about SMOOOOOOOOTHNESS and using LESS brakes, LESS steering, and LESS gas than LESS experience drivers.
