how could a tire shop do that? maybe they had a newbie install your tires.... by the way what kind of rims are those?? what size?

Oh s#it dude, that sucks! If that s#it were to happed at the tire shop I work at he would be canned on the spot.

I definitely know how you feel. My front left tire (same spot as yours) fell off of my old Aurora while I was going around an exit ramp and sparks flew everywhere, but all my bolts on the rotors got snapped clean off. Chasing my tire was no fun either seeing as it almost ran into the traffic. But it's a good thing the tire didn't fall off while I was still on the highway or that would have turned out ugly.

invest in your own torque wrench and double check your lugs everytime it has been touched.

Do you know what the lug torque specs are? Any where i can get a list for the whole car?

IIRC it is 86?

I torque mine to 90...

If others know, please confirm.

OEM torque spec is 76ftlbs. No need to go more than that.
