2003 GS430

Key-less entry doesn’t work on any doors it does make the beep sound

Remote will open trunk

Lock /unlock door switches on both driver and pass side do not unlock any doors
I do hear a click sound when both switches r pressed either direction

Can any one tell me where to start have no clue how to fix this

Did you just buy the car?

Have you witnessed them working before?

If you just got the car, chances are they went out over time and the previous owner never replaced them as they went out....

all the locks worked until the case on the key that has all the bottons for the keyless entry broke and the batt died. took the key in got the case replaced and for a while the front pass side was the only door that unlocked and then it quit working as well. Now none of the locks work from the keyless or the door switches. i cant see how getting a new key could make the locks stop working. but it did take about a year before we got the new key because the old one still started the car

op, have you thought bout the remote control ecu? its in the passenger c-pillar. forget bout it being the actuators, its unlikely all 4 are out more likely this one is....did u check the fuses BTW?

let me see if i can find a post showing it, i got one in mind. brb

edit: FINALLY found it.....took 20 mins almost....

or here is the direct post

if u actually read that thread and wanna try that people had mixed reviews with it but im suspecting this would probably be your problem ( a bad remote ecu) rather than 4 bad actuators

do dont know where the fuses r for the locks i dont have a book on it and dont know what fuse to check i did go threw the fuses on the pass and driver side floor board panels.

i dont think its in the remote control ecu because the lock switches in the doors don't work either.

than its probably a fuse or the door ecu..... i dunno man just my educated guess. but i still dont see it being 4 actuators (possible just unlikely)

2002 GS430 with 117K miles having similar problems...

Rear passenger door lock has worked intermittently for he past couple of months (generally unlocking more than it is locking). Today, temperature is about 27'F the driver door will not lock or unlock either. This occurs with both the switch in the driver door and the remote built into the key.

If I manually verify all doors are locked and closed and press "lock" on the key, the alarm activates as expected. If press "unlock" the alarm deactivates and the rear passenger and driver door locks remain locked.

All suggestions appreciated.

None of the locks worked on my 2003 gs300 so I replaced all 4 actuators. The 2 up front work just fine now. However, the rear locks still do not respond. Any suggestions on what might be the problem would be appreciated.

when you say the rear door locks won't respond is it when you lock/unlock the doors with the key in the front door lock, with the push button remote on the key and also with the automatic door lock on the inside driver panel?
