Default GS300 AWD Projectors
So my mother's neighbor has a smashed up head light from an accident he got into yesterday. I could talk to him and perhaps take it off of his hands for a fairly good price. Has anyone done any retrofits on the 2GS with these projectors?

If so, how do they perform? How is the cutoff? Is there color flicker?

Correct. 3rd gen GS and ES models suck. the better projector is the RX one below the all mighty LS (within the Lexus family of course)

Aww damn ok. I talked to him and he said I could have had them for a hundred bucks. Guess I'm back on my search for some projectors. *sigh*

Yeah mang, id say if your gonna go thru the trouble of a retro. hold out for some LS projectors, if not my second choice would be S2k or RX.

I like the q45 but is not as sharp and wide as the above, mainly for looks IMHO.

Plus Luxury mods has brackets for both LS and RX projectors. Believe me it makes the retro a 2 hour job!

could thing you didnt do it.. the worst projectors on the market. they really do suck

Yeah... My boss bought a black LS430 last week and maybe I'll talk him into handing those headlights over

I think I read that it is the lens and the D4S bulb that is not so good.

Output is pathetic. My cousins accord has better output/performance than the Gs. Light is very dim even though they are stock Hids. Not a good cutoff line mainly because of the Fresnel lens.

I think that the ls430 and the rx330 projectors are out of hand compared to these.

I believe 3rd gen gs's and is's have bulbs from the side and like stated d4 bulbs are not as good as the d2's

Can you use those brackets from luxury mods with other projectors? I have E46 projectors.

BTW, I'm assuming that there is no way to install the auto-leveling feature on factory halogen equipped cars?
