Don't yell at me to hard.
It's a hack job. I know.
Best bet here is to just replace the AC controls. I found some decent used one on Ebay for $100.00
I figure body shop labor would probably be more expensive.
So apparently nobody at the dealership is aware of any touch up paint for the AC controls Shifter surround ashtray area. Dark Gray.
So I went to the hobby store and mixed some black and Gun Metal here is the before and after. They don't match to well in reflective. the original being more matte and the touch up more glossy. Hoping to sand it maybe to bring down the luster.
Anyway the before and after.
Supplies:
Tamiya X-10 Gun Metal Acrylic Paint
Tamiya X-1 Black Acrylic Paint
a small detailed brush for painting model airplanes.
a small mixing cup the size of a NyQuil medicine dispenser.
2 X Clean Eye Droppers.
using eye droppers, mix 10 drops of Gun Metal paint with 3 Drops of Black, in the cup, with the brush.
Paint a piece of Scrap black plastic. Check the next morning for color matching.
Wash cup, brush, eyedroppers immediately in hot soapy water.
Good luck.

Well... you could go to Carson's website and order it there like everyone else. (www.l-tunedparts.com) I'd assume they would know the part numbers, as there are three for this (face plate, left bracket, right bracket).
I'm also interested in the part number for the kit because I work for a dealership franchise that has a Toyota store, and I'd like to buy this kit using my employee discount, if possible.
