Default 2000 gs400 starting/running issue...please help!!!

As stated in the subject line, I'm having issues starting and keeping my car running. I had the timing belt replaced about 11 months ago (105k mi) and my car was running fine until Monday. I got the notorious P0340 code, so I replaced the camshaft position sensor (located behind the driver's side timing belt cover) with an OEM one, but I'm still getting the code. My car ran fine for a few hours, upon replacing the sensor, but it started acting up again. When I start the car, it just bogs out and dies. I've searched the forums and googled everything I can think of, but I haven't found any solid info yet. Any advice/info will be greatly appreciated.
