Looking good! I have had the 5k Lowbeam, 3k Fog setup for years now. So I'm thinking of shacking things up a little.

I'm starting to like the 6k lowbeam/ 6k fog setup. I saw it on a black E55, and I thought it was

if you don't mind the ugly off-white "halogen" colour. gotta do 6000k for a better match to OEM HID colour.

^ Get a plug and play HID kit for the 9006 bulb type and order them with 3000K fogs. You don't have to change any connectors or anything, just plug it in. Relatively simple.

um, 4300k IS the OEM HID color so how would 6000k match better?

the stock 4300k is higher quality than the aftermarket 4300k so the light colour doesn't match. i had to replace mine a month ago and i bought aftermarket 4300k and they looked like halogen. i replaced them with 6000k. take my advice. if i had someone tell me this i wouldn't have wasted the time or money on 4300k.

You would need to get the Philips 4300k conversion kit from Xenon Depot to get it to match OEM. That's what I got and they match 99%.

only if you get a CHEAP aftermarket bulb, if you get a quality bulb they match perfectly

6000k Hid's lows and fogs. They look more blue in the pics than they actually are. They're much closer to white at night.

i bought PHILIPS 4300K hid's and they looked like *****. if you're a sucker to get ripped off by "quality" bulbs then so be it.
