nice....your key has the "L" logo on the backside...the other has a hole where a logo is suppose to be.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty sweet, too...but wouldn't an even larger key with a key you have to flip every time be annoying in, say, 6 months? I unno...

Now if you had pushbutton start as well, that would make sense!

Pretty sweet.I think cutting isthe expensive part. My key got broken a while back, and I ended up paying 120 for a key and to cut it. Not sure about individual price though

I have a similar one for my IS.

I DO NOT recommend this kind. There is a spring that makes the key pop out and only 1 screw to hold the whole thing together. It causes a gap where the key flips out. It works, but just not perfect. ALSO, the transponder is too far away from the chip by the ignition so I have to collapse the key so the transponder is closer to the ignition for it to start.

Also it cost like 13 dollars at my local Lexus dealership to cut the key. Good luck.

yeah I had one for a min. The morons at the lexus dealer didn't know how to cut a freakin key which made it so complicated.

I got 2 of them for over 2yrs now. I have Sewell Lexus of Fort Worth cut them for me for like $10each and I transfer the transmitter by myself. I got mine thru ebay for like $10 back then

damn it looks cool but i hate using it.
i drive cars a lot and i get pissed everytime i see this style of key. it makes holding it and putting it in the ignition so annoying.
