Will LS430 Seats (05') fit in a 2000 GS400? *Insight needed*
I have a pretty much mint GS400 interior with my black seats and all.
I'm thinking of selling my seats and installing some LS430 seats into my GS400 as a replacement.
I want to know if the LS430 seats (2005 ish) will bolt right up and work. I'm not worried about the heating or cooling aspects of the seats working right now. Power options would be ideal but I'm pretty handy around the vehicle so I think I can make the options work over time with some diagrams and color codes on the wires.
Some questions I have:
1. I'm somewhat sure that there are seat ecu's somewhere in the vehicle or that the ecu in the car picks up a seat signal from somewhere. Would I need to have an LS430 seat ecu to make my seats work?
2. Will the rears bolt right up or will I have issues?
3. Does anyone else have this done to their car?

I think you're in uncharted territory. But I will say, the rear will probably not be feasible to do. The fronts shouldn't be a problem though. There should be one or two spindles of wires going to your seats now, check and see if the pin layouts are the same or at least similar. Retrofitting the heated/cooling ***** in there will be work, but worth it good luck

I'm gonna try this as soon as I get my car painted and everything else done with my interior. I've swapped 03 GS300 seats in my 99 GS400 and it was somewhat of a complete bolt up and I had to do a bit of rewiring here and there. Nothing too much.
The reason why I want to replace the seats is because I rode in my friends LS430..and the seats are so comfy. My 335 seats aren't as comfy but the car isn't made for comfort like my GS4 is.
I'll keep you guys posted. I've just got to get my suspension done, paint done, finish my audio/trunk setup, and get some little kinks and stuff worked out. But this will be done at home in my garage as with all of my other work on my car.
