Hah. I have no strong opinion, either way, on BMWs. I have never driven one.
If they are anything like Audis, they are not remotely as comfortable or smooth as a Lexus.
I also know that repair costs on German cars can make you wish you WERE repairing a Japanese one.
Yup, last two cars before the GS were E Class Benz, if I were still on the MBZ boards the BMW talk would be offensive, lol. Even though both were nothing but good to me, I love the toyota reliability.
A friend of mine refers to BMW as B-M-trouble you!!!
...part of me still dies every time I see an e class, even in stock form :,)
My body guy has been building show cars for 25+ years.
From the floor up classics, lowriders, dub crap, imports, conversions, everyday collisions, etc.
His work survives cars hopping hydros think it'll be fine.
Pretty confident he's getting the hang of welding prep and paint.
He knows more based on experience alone than what any of us might think we think we're looking for looking at body work.
Peace
Nope, you guys are trippin.
Smooth as a baby's bottom.
except its not... you can see the "ripple" on the left side. look at YOUR first pic and zoom in on it.... you can clearly see where the Inner was, maybe they didnt paint the whole trunk or something. i dunno but you can def see it

Must be the picture, flawless in person. That was a spare OEM raw trunk the entire thing was painted inside and out.
