The red one definitely pulls the look off the best, because there is a lot done to the car to make it stand out among other GS's. But I'm with Dave and others, the inner tails is one of the styling characteristics that make the GS stand out from other cars, so on the one hand, why would you do something to negate that? On the other hand, it makes sense to GS enthusiasts, since they want to make their GS stand out from other GS's, so I can appreciate the reasoning from that stand point. Can I ride a fence or what? lol!!! But seriously, I wouldn't do it myself, bottom line.

I prefer most things shaved, but when I don't, it's my inner tails.

I personally dont fancy shaved inners, it makes the rear look somewhat naked.

I love it and always have. I cant wait to do mine. Probably on the re-paint though. I love shaving little things on cars, shaved my bumper lights and right now I have no emblems and think it looks way better. I even own the Black chrome emblems and still never put them on. Some stuff looks good shaved and I think this is one of them.

I agree with excluesive, I'm biased as well.

I would like to know what the out of pocket cost is.

Picked up a mint condition wingless trunk last week for $50 at a local junkyard, I will be shaving my current trunk this weekend (with wing). I think it might not flow as great with some colors. I saw a red one a while back with smoked tails and a black diffuser it flowed pretty nicely.

I have to agree with this. its what really sets the GS apart from other cars. just like multi piece headlights.
