You bet, the GS is so well done, no comparison to any Ford! but my old '88 LX never gets driven any more although it was my daily driver all through college... about 8 yrs back I did redo the interior from blue to black, added a Momo wheel and cruise button brkts, Flo Fit seats... ala Saleens from the 90's...came out well...
Here's a shot:

Ok I love a lowered GS too, in fact I have a brand new in the box set of Eibachs on the garage shelf.. have had 'em about a year... but as of yet my GS430 is still on stock coils. Ya I kinda like the 4x4 look... not really - but I have been so busy - just no time to swap them out. In fact I have not been on CL in months!
What have I been up to besides work?
I have been cruising my '63 Ford Falcon Sprint.. dropped on Air Ride and Americans.. a nice Good Guys Show cruiser. I did a lot of planning, fabricating and building on that ride to get 'er rolling. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3125541
Then I ran across a '56 Thunderbird I brought back from CO. These are the early T Birds, aka little bird's. It has a restomod theme going and I have been working on the mechanicals and now the interior. Sporting an EFI 5.0, Vintage Air HVAC and AOD trans, once sorted out a number of tried and true 5.0 bolt on's, proper hot rod wheels and a lowered stance will make it a wild ride. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3388894
And my wife's new car, she decided no more SUV for her, wanted an M3 Convertible! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3803528
Which means I may be selling the GS to get some sort of SUV or truck, etc. I hate to give up the quality, ride, and all that is so perfect in the GS but kinda need to. I'm researching asking prices for it.

So here's a teaser pic ..... after all the grief about lowering the GS, I decided to take the Eibach's off the shelf and install them. And a set of OE GS430 chrome wheels too...
