Default Where is the location?

Folks, can someone please point me to the location of the ECU steering unit. A picture would help greatly.

Before the Gestapo show up...
Found it ...

Its in the footwell on the drivers side. You will have to remove the plastic piece right beneath the steering column then it will be right next to your parking brake or in that general area. Look on page 2 I believe, there are pictures. And BTW, I did this "mod" last night and im diggin the heavier "sportier" steering feel!

I had to remove two panels to get to the plug. Top one directly below the steering wheel and the panel below it just to get access. Though you can visually see the plug, it's a little frustrating to get too. Nothing impossible though

Did you buy one, or did your car come with one, or both? Trying to figure out why you have an L-tuned steering ECU instructions, when you said earlier that all gs430s come with them...
