Default visors

Going to give this a go next week. My only concern are the visors. Seems like it would be a difficult peice to wrap. Anybody do it succesfully? Is there a way to remove the mirrors and put them back in afterward?

so if i read right, you just glue the suede over the existing headliner & pillar? Don't have to remove the original fabric?

I've seen a friend do his headliner years ago. He just cleaned the headliner, sprayed the original fabric with glue, and laid the new fabric over the headliner. Just make sure you work fast after you spray the glue on the original fabric, and work in an open area because of the fumes the glue gives off.

...the visors are a PITA. they have to be sewn to look right. yes you can remove the mirrors. you can see them removed in these pictures

depends on the type of suede you get. if it has a backing the best thing to do is remove the factory fabric

Thanks, so how do you get the mirrors off? I'm going to do the roofliner, pillars myself and then hand it over to an upholstory shop to do the visors. Not worth the time or aggravation.
