GGP- I asked in another thread, but how did you get the tip so close to the body? did they adjust the muffler hangers?

Sorry I'm rarely on the forums. The guy at the muffler shop welded the muffler tip onto a pipe, then welded the pipe onto the muffler.

I just installed mine today. When I first bought them I was under the impression they were AP2 tips. But now after comparing with the pics on this thread I'm pretty sure they're not. The size looks right but from the other photos posted the AP2 tips is cone shaped in the middle whereas mine is flat. After doing some research I'm pretty convinced they are 06-11 Civic Si tips. Overall I like them much more than my old ones.

Nice trick, with the AP2 tips. Is that something usually found on S2K forums, or did you guys go to the dealer for new ones?

Ya on ebay they're pretty hard to come by. The part number is 18310-S2A-A02. So far the two cheapest place I've found are these
