Default 2nd Gen GS at SEMA 2009

These were the 2nd Gen GS's that I saw at the SEMA show.

No feeling this one at all.

I have some more picture of other Lexus models at the show here

Ugh! Nasty a$$ stretched tires and f'ed up offsets on that last one. Hidden exhaust...hood ornament... IMO of course.

The quad exhaust tips aren't terrible under the big back end of the 2GS...

the last black GS with the fake front junction bumper looks like a bootleg/ghetto build that was put together in a day with what ever parts he can find....

i like the JOB design one, just not sure on the black stripe down the middle of it.

that black one has potential... clearly the stretched tyres are necessary but it has like Zero camber. He needs to crank like 5deg negative into it and it would be looking good, maybe lower it a bit more. The Garson hood ornament is personal preference, a little unsure on the wierd pinstripe across the wing but whatever... Exhaust looks like its still stock. It can be fixed imo

Nope, there's another one that is there, one of my boys, and that we all know. Just waiting to see someone spot him. Someone already mentioned him, but didn't have pics.

Am I a DiQ for saying i don't like any of these?

SEMA is a badass car show to go to or be a part of but they always pick cars that make the "tuner/customizer" scene look like a bunch of fiberglass and big exhaust A-holes. I can appreciate the work people do to their cars and the money and time spent to do it. But it is rare to see a proper car done right that any of us would drive because it is too "plain" in their eyes. Kinda like watching a carnival side show with the quad tailed pony on display or something. Those wheels on the last car are SiC in a GROSS way.. Maybe a custom fender flair would help or something.

<----Just a noob with a super clean 99' GS2, 1 month old buy, that is not trying to go "too fast, too furious" with his new purchase.

Just trying to get that subtle"you know it if you see it" look that is clean and right.

No direspect to the entries at this event just an opinion Keep doin what your are doin obviously your pockets are deeper than mine.

btw, found a guy selling authentic JP hood ornaments on Ebay for $25 bucks!!! (must be stolen or something)
