i bought this harness because the guy at the radio store told me that this is what i needed. i took out the stock radio and the plug is totally diff. is there a plug that connects right into the stock radio?? i read that the 70-8113 works but it says its for 2000^ and mine is a 98. i dont want to go splicing into the stock harness.

im trying to connect a radio that i brought. But i dont want to splice into the factory wires. I went to the store and asked if they had a harness and he gave me this one. It says up to 99 toyota amp integration. but the harness is almost the same but it doesn't work.

i did and all that comes up is with splicing into the factory wires and bypassing the amp.. there has to be a way to not bypass and it not splice into the wires

As i explained in that thread LudeNsol there is no way to make our factory amp work with an aftermarket HU. The reason being is the our amp requires a special digital turn on that only the factory radio can produce. if you want to go the bypass way the wire harness part # is twh-950 from american international. good luck
