Yeah it sucks in the snow bad...I make my wife drive soemthing else when the forecast has snow in it. And if other cars are broke I suck it up and drive it, its not fun. But if you have experience w/ RWD it becomes easier.

i'd have to agree with everyone on here. I'm 20 and living up in state college, pa we saw a fair amount of snow and from my experience last year, the gs can be be a handful to drive in snow if you don't have a good set of snow tires. listen to the guys on here and start with a subi or a fwd car. and most importantly respect mother nature when driving in any inclement weather. she'll bite you in the ass real quick without any hesitation.
would not recommend a GS300 in the snow, espically if your young and inexperienced
I find it a handful and a touch scary, have even caused some damage while driving it in the snow and skidding on ice where i had no control over what was going on....
I have driven 290bhp R33 GTS-T's in the snow so have had car's with more power and not even they where that hard to control
Get something cheap and fwd,and learn how to drive on the road, not how to drive to get your license, only then should you start to go up the scale car wise...
Damn car sucks in the snow; well at least when I had my summer tires on. I have winter tires sitting in the garage now but it's too early to mount them. I'm now considering getting a beater car with fwd or perhaps awd.

Ive got a hour commute to work, and im required by my job to come in regardless of weather conditions. I put Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires on my 98' and it was pretty managable even in really bad conditions, but ive got a little experiance in snow though. If you do end up getting it there's DEFINATELY a big difference with some dedicated snow tires, just dont run snow tires in the summer to keep them in good shape
No man dont do it!!! its going to be big mistake. Go get you a honda civic or something and have fun with it tear that **** up until you experience out the most of driving lolz.. Yea but seriously buy something cheap for your first car
Down here in Edmonton, Alberta It snows like crazy.... As a matter of fact its snowing heavily right now. Should I use all season tires or winter tires for my gs. Do they both play the same role when it comes to driving in snow? I am also a new driver and i recently bought a gs400.
Well like everyone else has already beatin' me to it, the GS is not fun in the snow. It would only be an ok driver is you installed a limited slip instead of the open diff. That being said winter tires will help, but not when your trying to get up a hill from a dead stop, you will be the SHEIT out of one wheel.... If you MUST have the 2GS, cause it's a great car, just give yourself plenty of travel time as you will need it, getting stuck or having to take other routes... Ask me how I know...
