Those that have front rolled or cut fenders, what happened to your fender liner?

FRONT FENDERS

Just curious what some of you did with ur fender liner.

mine front fenders are rolled, but still retain a little bit of a fender lip for the fender liner to attach to (though with zap straps). did u remove the liner completely? without it being attached to the fender lip, it kinda sags and thus rubs on the tire.

those that have the fenders cut, what did u do to the fender liner?

I dont want to completely remove the fender liner, it is vancouver afterall and i dont want rain splatter everywhere...

Thanx.

Well, I personally removed mine. However, few ideas are to tuck the liner in that roll real good and the other is to use small 3/8-1/2" screws and screw it upward into the fender (thats what I did before I decided to remove them

Ripped mine out on the highway a long time ago when I was running the 19s. But usually people reform it with a heat gun and than screw them in.

the dude who rolled my fenders cut it so it has a peice at the front and back but nothing above the wheel. just looks neater when looking in from front and back. Still lets **** up into the engine bay though! cause this isnt a performance car i rarely open the bonnet and when i do i'm like god damn! theres like an inch of dust and road grime all over the place haha

im considering trimming my front fenders this time, then at least with the fender off the car (which i plan on removing off the car to do the hand trimming) i can get a better look at how the fender liner is, and maybe tuck trim, and do some surgery on it.

i really want to push my fronts out a bit more, 20x8.5 +20 is what i want, but with my height, every little bump makes the tire rub the fender liner.

What you need is a smaller tire , I ran a 19x9 + 6 in the front with just a roll .
whta size tire are you running?

i rolled mine wiht a bat, so it is a slight/minor roll, but i run a 255/35/20 with tanabe df210's and have had no issues. the fenderliner is kinda pinched in the roll but it is also still attached at the sides

fronts are 20x8.5 +35 w a 5mm spacer (to clear calipers), tires are 245/30/20

i want to run a 15mm spacer to push them out to look more flush.

ive had my fronts already rolled a bit, not flat though. ive removed the fender edge trim already. but when i put the 15mm spacers on, they rubbed, thus looking at what i can do to the fender and fender liner to make it work.

the rears are completely fine, its just the fronts that i want to work on.
