hi guys need some help please.

my gs300 developed problem today. passenger side front door does not lock any more
remote key, manual lock or with key nothing works.

with key key turns but lock doesnt click i mean it does not make click noise
if i hold key in anti clock wise position in lock position and try to open door , door does not open but if i let key go it doesnt stay in locking position..at the moment i just cant lock my door no matter what i do

its kinda hard to explain i dont know if that makes sense above ^^^

it doesnt even lock with key so im guessing its mechanical thing maybe broken wire or some thing

if i try to lock from inside same problem . i can press lock button/switch but it pops open again it doesnt stay in lock position....

any suggestions guys ???

i think im gona have to take it to lexus/toyota garage ?

i did long searhc on forum but all links i found were related to door acutators..

my problem is i cant even lock using key or manual lock so i dont think so its acutator problem ? may be im wrong ?

does the sound on your car beep and blinkers flash and you press the remote? if everything seems to work fine after the switch is locked then its your actuator. i just recently had my passenger rear door replaced, from what ive read its a common problem on the RX,GS,LX model's.

no blinkers ...mike

thats ma problem i cant even lock the door it only blinkers when all door all locked

my passenger door doesnt even lock using key no matter what you it just does not lock

you press lock button an dit just pop out again pops out mean unlock position it just doesnt stay at lock position

did you physically try to press the switch to the lock position near the chrome handle? dont use the "button" on the armrest area... if it locks then try to press ur remote again to see if it blinks, if so then its your actuator.

can't flip the switch from inside the car next to chrome handle
flip switch and it just pops out again ...yea its not fliping and doesnt stay in lock position
