I have the same problem but my issue is Bank 1 sensor2 which is the O2 sensor in front of the CAT on the passenger side, Bank 2 is after the CAT(98% sure) I got a replacement sensor from Toyota auto dismantler for like $40. I hope that helps?
Do you have a gs300 or 400? i have a 2000 gs3
No, the bank refers to the placement of the exhaust manifold on the head or in the engine configuration.
The sensor number refers to it's placement in the manifold. Sensor one is upstream of the catalytic converter or closer to the engine block. Sensor 2 is downstream of the cat, closer to the muffler....

That would be the second cat with the sensor on top. That is Bank 2 sensor 1. Open the hood. Look at the headers, it comes down you see these ball rounded things. And the furthest one is the second cat. Hope that helps.
