Default Black and Green, should it be seen?

I have a low km's (106,000kms) about 65,000 miles 98 Gs300 Green with Tan,

see below..

I had an idea about a black and green theme, i'm not sure if I could pull it off?

so here is a short list of things I'm throwing out there..

*Black 19's or RX350 18's painted black. (not these rims specifically, but I want an OEM+ look, I prefer all black, no chrome lip.)

*Badgeless black front grille.

*Black or black-chrome the chrome window trim and the lower chrome strip that runs around the entire car.

*Debadge rear LEXUS and GS300 badges and Black chrome L emblem.

*Clear or tinted front indicator.

*painted black headlight housing.

*limo tint rear glass.

*black paint front and rear bar cutouts.

*black engine paint 4inch exhaust tips.

*remove silver electric aerial and replace with fixed black stubby one.

*black chrome rear trunk handle. door handles??

Let know if you have any other suggestions. This car is my daily so I gotta keep it practical for a while at least. I always liked this Celtic uni..black and green?

It'll definitely be unique, I have doubts about how well green and black would work but give it a shot.

I think yes. Going with black chrome is a good way not to loose the chrome touches but definitely tone them down some.

I think it will look relaly good.

On the headlights, I'd go with a high gloss black so you maintain some of the crystal look and don't end up w. some dead looking eyes.

Yeah, any chance of some more green pics? Pass on the green an gold thing, those colours have somewhat of an patriotic value over here. It's been done many times, badly!

Dayam when I first saw "green" I was like "Eww, a green GS?" but once I saw it me likey!

I say this would work and work nice as long as the black isn't overplayed.

Have the black portion of those rims painted the same green as the car. THAT will look sharp.

I say go for it!!! I'm thinking of going the same route. I have gunmetal type wheels on now, but was thinking of staggered black mesh wheels (or if I can afford it, gold mesh wheels). I think it'll look good...you can always ask some of the photoshop guru's to help photoshop the wheels on to your car.

and in case you havent seen IMJ green GS & gold wheel combo, here's a photoshop that Seize did a while back:

I like the uniqueness of green and black or gold. I'd lose the chrome stripe around the car, too. Sell that bullbar on your RX and buy rims for the GS.
