98 GS3 201k
One t-belt/water pump
Lower B/Js @ 169k
Door actuators
Brake booster @ 189k (new OEM) expensive
Burns no oil through 5k changes. Get oil changed
@ Toyota dealer with bulk conventional oil every
5k and drain and fill 2.4 quarts of trans fluid every 30k
Have never taken off the pan.Use premium fuel and she just keeps going!! Starting to get a small rear main leak.
Starting to loose some mpgs and need to bite the
Bullet and get some kybs or some bilstiens cause
Shocks are OEM with 201k so the ride is starting
To suffer. Just hate to invest and them something
Major goes wrong!!

Impressive. Sounds like you have taken good car of your car. I'd go ahead and do the shocks/struts as it sounds like the engine/transmission is solid. I bet you have another 100k pretty easily.

114Kmi on my '02 GS430 (black on black with navi and chrome 17's).
Original motor, trans, etc and all maintenance up-to-snuff.
Like everyone else's, it is exceedingly reliable.
Would love a new car, but this one is still rock solid (knock on wood). It's a great thing that it won't break, but if it doesn't break how do I reasonably justify replacing it?! In all honesty, it's a great predicament to have.
For what it's worth, I bought it CPO with 45k mi ~8yrs ago when it was ~3yrs old. The only non-wear items to go south have been one actuator and a seized caliper. It's got new shocks all around, but I figure those are wear items. Doesn't eat brakes or tires, which is easy on my wallet too.
Drive safe.

Yesterday and I got a smile on my face when I was on
The freeway not realizing I was doing 100mph. It's still
Just that smooth. I will be doing the shocks here soon.
Thanks a lot for your input.

1st gen. GS300 163,000 still going strong, but probably gonna sell. Needs to go to someone who appreciates this type of car. I bought it for my 17 year old daughter not knowing what we had. These are great cars.
My 99 has 125,000 and is like new. Just bought it and love it.
