Not True, there are others with lower miles than you.. and they have GS400/GS430 V8's. Which is more Rare than your GS300.

98 GS400, 114k recently transplanted to Mass from Miami. I bought it to be a daily driver but the car is far too clean to put through New England winters so looks like sprig summer and fall duty only!

1998 GS400
Almost 240k miles
First engine, transmission, chassis, nothing's been swapped.

No check engine lights (has some mods like intake)
No VSC lights (lowered on Bilstein PSS, BBK, 01-05 booster, and other suspension/chassis mods)

The suspension can be worked with bro. That's not as big as engine problems. I can feel with that. I see these GS cars are mainly problem free. Only things that should always be concerned with is front suspension components & cat gaskets w/ o2 sensors. Everything else holds up pretty fairly.

That is my theory too. I would much rather deal with the suspension on the GS, everything is bolt on, no press in ball joints and control arms are easy to get rebuilt except for the rare and elusive Control Arm #2.... Much easier and cheaper than a transmisson rebuild or engine rebuild every 150k to 200k.

Agreed. Suspension isn't as bulletproof as the engine/tranny but those aren't terrible repairs.

2002 GS 300, 34,000 miles.

I bought this car from my mother when she retired from driving. It was literally the car driven once a week by a little old lady. She's the original owner, always garaged, serviced by the dealer by the book. It's like new, inside and out. it's 14 years old and has averaged less than 2,500 miles a year.

Wow. I thought the 02 GS300 I bought in July was low mileage at 84k. You got me beat bro! :-)
